Spokane Co. holds primary election

SPOKANE, Wash.—Tuesday August 1 was the deadline to cast a vote in the 2017 primary elections.

The Spokane County Elections Office mailed the ballots out July 12-13.

Reports said the Elections Office has only received 14  percent of the ballots that were sent out. Officials said they hope to get 25 percent in by the end of Tuesday.

Officials said if people have not mailed in or cast their ballot in yet, it can be dropped off at the elections office, a public library, or the Spokane Transit Authority Plaza downtown until 8:00 p.m.
