SPD: Missing 2-year-old and mother found safe

The child was taken by his mother from a treatment facility where they were required to stay at by court order.

SPOKANE, Wash. – Officials with the Spokane Police Department said a missing two-year-old and his mother were located safely Thursday morning.

Detectives confirmed Danielle Graves and her son were located safe in Arlington, Washington.

The Spokane Police Department asked the public for help Tuesday evening finding a mother and her two-year-old child.

Officials said they received a report Monday of a missing child that was taken from a treatment facility by his mother. Both mother and child were court ordered to stay at the facility. Due to the violation of this order, the child is considered to be in imminent risk of harm and is to be placed in protective custody.

The child is a two-year-old male with black hair and brown eyes. The mother, Danielle Graves, 21, is described as 5’06”, 120 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes.

If you have any information about their whereabouts you’re asked to call 911 immediately.
