AIRWAY HEIGHTS, Wash. – Court documents released Monday provided new details into the stabbing death of a woman in Airway Heights.
Spokane County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a report off Highway 2 near South Rambo Road from a female that said she had been stabbed before the call was disconnected.
When authorities arrived on scene they found the woman, identified as Sally Love, lying on the floor unconscious and bleeding. She was provided medical attention but was pronounced dead at the scene.
The woman’s roommate said he heard her yelling at her brother, Daniel Love, 59, about half an hour before she called 911. The roommate said he did not know she was injured until he checked on her moments later.
Police said they located Love nearby and noticed blood on his arm and hand. In a recorded interview with Spokane deputies, Love admitted to killing his sister. Love said he confronted his sister in her bedroom and just “snapped.”
Love is currently being held in the Spokane County Jail on second degree murder charges. His bond was set at $500,000.
