Woman arrested at N. Spokane standoff.

SPOKANE, Wash. -- Police arrested one woman during a standoff Thursday morning in North Spokane.

The area from Crown Avenue and Perry Street to North Nevada Street and East Olympic Avenue was blocked off for several hours, but reopened around 8:00 a.m. 

Officials said the standoff began at 4:00 a.m. on Thursday. Police said the woman barricaded herself in a home.

According to police, there is a man who is wanted that remains at large. Police originally thought he was also inside the house, but he was not. 

The woman was arrested for possession of a stolen car. The other man is wanted for robbery. Police said he is not a a threat to the community.
