Officers credit airbags in protecting driver involved in South Hill rollover crash

SPOKANE, Wash. – The intersection of Thurston and Perry on Spokane’s South Hill was blocked Monday morning following a two-car rollover collision.

Officers said a light blue Lexus failed to yield at a stop sign and turned into oncoming traffic, hitting a dark blue truck. The collision caused the Lexus to rollover.

Neither driver was seriously injured in the crash. Neither drive chose to go to the hospital.

Officers credit side airbags with keeping the Lexus driver safe.
