LEWISTON, Idaho. -- A North Idaho couple is facing charges accused of stealing $5,300 Wednesday night in an elaborate scam.  Lewiston police are looking for one of the suspects.

Officers are trying to locate William Williams.  His girlfriend, Trisha Reynolds, told police that a man robbed her in the Wells Fargo parking lot while she was dropping off a large deposit after work.  However, officers say Reynolds actually conspired with Williams to take the money.

Both are facing multiple charges.  Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of William Williams are asked to call the Lewiston Police Department at (208) 746-0171, or the anonymous crime tip hotline at (208) 748-2746.

What's so elaborate about this? Girlfriend works for a company and makes the night deposits. She teams up with boyfriend to stage a robbery. Not only is this NOT elaborate, it is not even clever and shows a distinct lake of imagination. Just another 2 losers.
