SPOKANE, Wash. -- Donations poured in for the Spokane Guilds' School Foundation on Saturday.
Leaders estimated on Monday that they exceeded their $70,000 goal for the annual Penny Drive. Fundraiser leaders are still awaiting an official total from the bank.
Volunteers collected pennies on Saturday at 13 locations across Spokane County.
The Kids for Kids Penny Drive raises money each year for the school. Spokane Guilds' School works with kids with disabilities. The school offers personalized, comprehensive program of assessment, therapy, education, and support.
