Arrest made after bomb threat at Lewiston High School

LEWISTON, Idaho – Police in Lewiston arrested a Lewiston High School student they believe is responsible for making a bomb threat there on June 2. The 17-year-old, who was not identified because he is a juvenile, confessed to the threat when he was questioned, police said.

The student was charged with false reports of explosive in a public place, which is a felony, the Lewiston Police Department said in a release.

There were other bomb threats made at junior highs in Lewiston, but officers said the student was not being investigated for those threats.

Lewiston PD said the case was being forwarded to the Nez Perce County Prosecutor's Office.
