ISP: Driver killed in Hwy 95 crash was not wearing seatbelt

HAYDEN, Idaho – One man is dead after a semi crash on Highway 95 in Hayden Wednesday morning.

Officials said Rock Gabbard, 53, was northbound on Highway 95 near Boekel Road around 9:15 a.m. when he left the right shoulder of the roadway. The semi went down an embankment and tipped over onto its side, hitting a fence and multiple trees, according to authorities.

Officials said Gabbard was not wearing a seatbelt. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
