Driver arrested after ramming gate at Moses Lake airport

MOSES LAKE, Wash. (AP) - A 29-year-old Idaho woman has been arrested after authorities say she rammed her pickup truck through a security gate at the Moses Lake International Airport and damaged buildings on the airfield.

The Grant County Sheriff's Office says Crystal Sullivan was taken into custody Wednesday morning after deputies found her partially naked outside the Genie factory on the airfield. She was booked into Grant County Jail on investigation of burglary, malicious mischief and stealing a vehicle.

Authorities say she drove a pickup truck through an unmanned security gate, got onto the airfield and broke into the Forest Service's firefighting air tanker base building where she caused thousands of dollars of damage inside.

The office says she got back into the truck and rammed through another security fence and into the Genie factory. She took a company-owned a golf cart.

No one was injured.
