Driver escapes injury after semi crashes into car

NEAR ROCKFORD, Wash. -- The driver of a Ford Thunderbird escaped injury after colliding with a semi-truck Tuesday evening.  The crash happened just after 5 p.m. on State Route 27 north of Rockford.

Washington State Patrol responded to the scene.  They say the semi-truck swiped the car.

STUDIES DONE ALL OVER THE U . S . AND CANADA AND FROM THE UNIVERSITY OF MICHIGAN HAVE SHOWN THAT 73--TO--76 PERCENT OF ALL TRUCK V . CAR ACCIDENTS . ARE THE TOTAL FAULT OF THE CAR= FOUR--WHEELER . I AM VERY GLAD BOTH ARE WELL .

I heard it the other way around. The driver of the car crossed the line and hit the semi. Folded the front end of his car up underneath itself almost like a U.
