SPOKANE -- Gonzaga students who lined up early for Wednesday night's basketball game against Washington State University showed their team spirit.
Students tried to light a WSU pennant on fire, but were unsuccessful. They next tried a WSU t-shirt, which caught fire, and used that to burn the pennant.
The Clash in the Kennel has become a highly-anticipated basketball tradition in the Inland Northwest.
