SPOKANE, Wash. -- Police arrested a young woman late Monday after she rammed her car into the back of a Spokane Police patrol car.

It happened at a stoplight near the intersection of N. Division and E. Wellesley.  Savannah Ashby, 18, ran into the back of the patrol car and another car at a high rate of speed, according to police.  No one was injured in the wreck.

All three vehicles were towed away from the scene and a search warrant was executed on Ashby’s car.  Officers located a bag of meth inside her car.  She was booked into the Spokane County Jail for Driving Under the Influence and Possession of a Controlled Substance.

She was scheduled to make her first court appearance on Tuesday.
