SPOKANE -- Spokane Police are searching for a man in connection with a shooting in North Spokane Monday afternoon.

Police determined no one was inside a home they surrounded near Whitman Elementary School.

Officers thought there was a person of interest in a nearby shooting inside the home. When police went into the house, they did not find anyone.

A 19-year-old woman was shot in the face in the 1500 block of E. Everett around 3:00 p.m. Police said the woman’s boyfriend called authorities to report the shooting, but were not able to reach him after that.

Officers said the woman was taken by a passerby to a Spokane hospital. She was in serious condition at Sacred Heart Medical Center Monday evening.

Police say they are searching for the boyfriend, 30-year-old Josh Graham, in connection with the shooting.  He's wanted for attempted murder and domestic violence.  He's considered armed and dangerous.

Police ask that anyone with information on Graham's whereabouts or anyone who saw the shooting call CrimeCheck.
