Historic Coeur d'Alene school to be torn down in June

COEUR D’ALENE, Idaho--The oldest active school in the Coeur d’Alene area was set to come down in June of 2014.

School officials planned to tear down Winton Elementary to make way for a new building in 2015. Winton Elementary was built in the early 1900s and was originally named Park Elementary.
