PULLMAN, Wash. - A Washington State University student was airlifted to a Spokane hospital after falling from a third story balcony.
Police said the student, Jonathan P. Meyer, was attempting to climb down to a second story balcony when he slipped Friday night.
Officers said it appeared Meyer had been drinking. He was unconscious when police arrived and officers did not observe him regaining consciousness.
The accident happened at the Boulder Creek Apartments on Northeast Terre View Drive.
