SPOKANE, Wash. (AP) -- Some downtown Spokane businesses concerned about late-night violence will discuss the issue at a Tuesday night meeting of the Riverside Neighborhood Council.
Media reports show recent incidents blamed on a group of teens include the beating of a bar bouncer and two cooks from a diner.
Police have increased bike patrols. But City Council President Ben Stuckart says the city doesn't have the budget to add more downtown cops.
