SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. -- A man was arrested in Spokane Valley for allegedly taking tools from a vacant home that did not belong to him according to authorities.
Jason Trampush, 43, was spotted by a neighbor on Sunday leaving a home that was being remodeled and carrying tools and other property. The neighbor said he did not believe the items belonged to Trampush.
Officials said they found Trampush on North Coleman Road near East Trent Avenue with two bags on the ground near him. Officials said that Trampush insisted that the bags belonged to him, but eventually said he only borrowed them from the home. He also said that he planned on returning them the next day and wanted to ask the contractor if he could have a job, according to authorities.
Trampush was booked into Spokane County Jail on a felony charge of Residential Burglary.
