SPOKANE-- U.S. Marshals arrested a man Wednesday, in Florida wanted for a Spokane kidnapping.
U.S. Marshals arrested Dennis Kariores, age 41, in Pensacola, Florida.
A warrant was issued for Kariores on August 30 2011, out of the Spokane Superior Court for Kidnapping in the 2nd Degree, Burglary in the 1st Degree, and Unlawful Imprisonment.
On August 31, 2011 the U.S. Marshals led Pacific Northwest Violent Offenders Task Force in Spokane adopted this case in order to locate Kariores.
Officials say intensive efforts including numerous interviews developed information that Kariores had fled to Navarre, a small city just outside of Pensacola Florida.
The PNVOTF relayed the information to the U.S. Marshals led Gulf Coast Regional Task Force in Florida, who immediately responded, located and arrested Kariores.
