MOSCOW, Idaho -- The University of Idaho was ranked 25th in Forbes Magazine's list of "Best Value" colleges across the country. UI was one of only four universities in the western United States to make the list.
The magazine said high education quality and price are the two key factors taken into consideration for the "Best Value" rating by Forbes. The other three western schools on the list are Wyoming (11th), Bringham Young University (15th), and South Dakota (17th).
UI was rated number one in the state for the highest return on investment by Affordable Colleges Online earlier in July with a $730,400 ROI. It was evaluated based on tuition, fees, and career earnings.
“Value is a product of quality and cost. The Forbes article is the latest evidence that the University of Idaho delivers quality education in a highly cost-effective way,” said UI Interim President Don Burnett.
