EPHRATA, Wash.  --  CBS confirmed on Wednesday that two of the contestants on the upcoming season of Survivor are from the Ephrata area.

Dale, and his daughter Kelley, will be partnered as a team on Survivor: Blood vs. Water- San Juan Del Sur.

According to CBS, Dale lives on a farm about 15 miles outside of Ephrata.  Kelley also grew up in Grant County, but now lives in Seattle.

In an interview with CBS, Dale said his experience living in a rural area has prepared him for Survivor.

Dale said he believes he has an advantage over the other contestants on "Survivor," because he has always grown his own food.

In the interview, he stated he believes hard work will eventually lead to victory for Kelley and himself.

"Hard work will get you through anything in life," he said.
