MEDICAL LAKE, Wash.-- The Veterans Memorial Tribute Program started this August in Medical Lake, and has grown rapidly since it began.
The program provides a full military service for those who died and did not receive honors at burial. The program is only in its third month at Medical Lake, and is already gaining momentum.
The first ceremony in August memorialized 78 service members. In October, that number nearly doubled. Now with proper military honors, those soldiers will forever be remembered as true American heroes who fought for their country.
A tribute program is held the last Monday of every month in Medical Lake. The next ceremony will be November 28th at 3 p.m.
