Time to sign up for Hoopfest

SPOKANE -- It's time to sign up for Hoopfest.  There is 105 days until tip-off in downtown Spokane.  But the event is expected to fill up fast.  Online registration started Friday.

Basketball players can also get team applications at Bruchi's and Yoke's Fresh Markets.  26,000 people played last year in the three-on-three tournament.  This year, Hoopfest takes over Spokane on the last weekend of June.

Organizers are still looking for volunteers to monitor the courts.  It takes 600 volunteers to officiate the tournament.  Anyone working as a full time court monitor will get free Nike gear.  Overall, Hoopfest needs 3,000 volunteers.
