SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash—Three wrecks on I-90 within ten minutes of each other Sunday morning forced officials to close eastbound lanes of the freeway.

Exit 291 near Evergreen road was closed at approximately 11 a.m. for one hour.

In the first non-serious incident, a car slid off the road according to officials. They said that driver was okay.

Responders said another driver flipped their car while using cruise control and had to be extricated from the vehicle. That driver was transported to Spokane Valley Hospital.

A truck hit a jeep that had pulled over to assist the victim in the rollover officials said.  They said that truck driver was also taken to Spokane Valley Hospital.

Authorities said none of the injuries were life threatening.

Officials advised the public not to use cruise-control in icy weather conditions.
