3 people injured after crash at Belt and Wellesley

SPOKANE, Wash.--The Spokane Fire Department responded to an extrication call at the intersection of Wellesley and Belt on Sunday night.

Officials said the driver of a sedan failed to yield for an SUV. There were two people in the SUV, one being an elderly woman. Both of those people were not injured.

There were three people in the sedan. Those three people were found with neck and back injuries. At least one of those people were trapped and had to be cut out from the car.

The three individuals in the sedan were all in their twenties. They were transported by AMR to nearby medical centers.

There was no word Sunday night on charges.
