(MOSES LAKE, Wash.) -- The Grant County Sheriff's Office has announced the arrest of the last suspect wanted for a fatal shooting on March 7th. That's when investigators say a group drove by and opened fire on a three people walking a road north of Mattawa, WA. 17-year-old Carlos D. Leyva was killed and a companion wounded.
The Grant County Sheriff's Office reports its detectives teamed up with police in Sunnyside, Washington to arrest the third-and-final suspect in the case on Thursday afternoon. Authorities identify him as 41-year-old Martin Ochoa Ramos of Sunnyside.
In addition to Ramos, the Grant County Sheriff's Department reports Luis A. Mejia Nunez, 20 of Mattawa, and a 15-year old male juvenile from Mattawa were arrested Wednesday during a traffic stop. They face both first and second degree murder charges, as well as attempted murder charges.
