SPOKANE COUNTY, Wash—Children competed to build the best egg-catching device Sunday morning at Valley Assembly Church.
Eggs wrapped in napkins, shipping boxes, and canisters dropped 15-feet into an empty, plastic swimming pool
The goal was to protect their egg from cracking during the fall. The only requirements were that the devices fit within a one-foot parameter and were not made out of liquid glass or metal.
About twelve of the devices were successful. The designers of those devices were entered into a raffle to win a prize.
