SPOKANE -- The Spokane Parks Foundation is trying to collect more donations for its “OPERATION: Save Our Summer” program.

Someone stole 20 swimsuits from an employee’s car Monday.  Those suits were meant to help low-income kids enjoy some of the hot weather at local pools.  The program also pays for swim lessons.  Since it began in 2007, the program has paid for thousands of swimsuits for kids across the Greater Spokane Area.
