TWIN LAKES, Idaho-- Neighbors living in a popular community outside of Rathdrum, Idaho are on the look-out for thieves. Crooks are targeting several condos in the Twin Lakes area.

The Twin Lakes Village is a safe area where residents say they felt safe.

Joe Guenthner’s condo at the Evergreen Building was hit by thieves this winter. Guenthner says thieves took his television, vacuum cleaner, and other house holds goods.

Guenthner's place was hit again this summer, and an expensive golf cart charger was taken. He said “it is a feeling of invasion of privacy, this is our second home and people were there stealing things from us, it’s not a good feeling.”

Guenthner says there have been at least four thefts recently around his condo complex.

The Kootenai County Sheriff's Office says Twin Lakes is not a crime hot spot and there’s' no significant uptick in break-ins. However, at least one other place in the out-lying area was broken into recently.

We're told no arrests have been made in either case.

The condo complex says they have volunteers who are running security.
