SPOKANE, Wash—Bike riders swapped, shopped and donated their bicycles Saturday and Sunday at the third annual Spokane Bike Swap.
The county’s commute trip reduction office hosted the event from 9am-3pm both days at the Spokane County Fair & Expo Center
Organizers expected more than 600 bikes ranging from children’s bicycles, tandems and tri-cycles to be donated for sale or exchange.
More than 50 exhibitors including ten local bike shops and clubs educated riders about biking events and sold accessories.
Organizers charged $5.00 for admission fees for adults and planned to use the proceeds to further the efforts of the Centennial Trail nonprofit organization.
