SPOKANE - Some of the coldest temperatures of 2009 will move into the Inland Northwest with most locations experiencing temperatures below zero.

A temperature of nine degrees greeted people waking up around the region Monday morning, but wind gusts up to 15 miles per hour made the wind chill factor feel like it was minus eight degrees.  A high of 15 degrees was forecast for Monday. Winds should taper off Monday afternoon.

The temperature is expected to drop to minus two degrees Tuesday morning with a high of only 13 degrees.

Temperatures warm up slightly on Wednesday with a high of 17 and a low of three.

Thursday will see a high of 20 and a low of six.

No snow is expected in the forecast until temperatures warm up on Sunday.
