SPOKANE, Wash. -- Don’t make the same mistake as our own Sten Walstrom.

He already packed away the scraper this season, but many drivers woke up to frost on their windshields Wednesday morning.

Temperatures were at or above freezing in the early hours. Spokane came in on top, with a temperature of 32, but others were much cooler. Cities across north Idaho made it down to the 20s and Deer Park dropped to 18.

Wednesday will be chilly, compared to the rest of the week. Local highs will make it up to 57, but they’ll soar to 67 by Thursday.
