GEORGE, Wash. -- A teenage boy suffered a head injury on Monday when he crashed his dirt bike. The 16-year-old was listed in critical condition on Tuesday according to authorities.

The teenager from Quincy crashed near 1005 Adams Road South around 1:00 p.m. Authorities said that the victim was riding a Yamaha TTR-230 dirt bike on private property when he crashed into a horse pen fence.

Investigators said that the teenager was not wearing a helmet. He was flown by MedStar helicopter to Kadlec Medical Center in Tri Cities.
