Bicycle ride near Gonzaga ends with 2 arrests

SPOKANE, Wash.— A bicycle ride near Gonzaga University ended with two arrests Saturday.
Officers watched two people on bikes riding around and acting suspicious. Police stopped the  cyclists when they made several traffic violations.

The individuals, 30-year-old Joshua McGlothlen and 23-year-old Norma Morris, had escape warrants from the Department of Corrections, according to police. Both of the people were taken into custody.

McGlothen additionally had a restraining order. He was arrested for Domestic Violence Order Protection Violation and for Possession of Controlled Substance-Methamphetamine after officers said they found methamphetamine on him.
