Donna Perry was extradited back to Spokane from Texas. She was serving time for a federal firearms charge. Perry is accused of shooting three Spokane prostitutes to death back in the 90's. Detectives believe her victim's include Yolanda Sapp, Nikkie Lowe and Kathlene Brisois.

The bodies of all three women were removed by authorities from the Spokane River.

In 2012, Perry was arrested and later sentenced to 18 months in federal prison for unlawful possession of firearms.

Court documents said Perry told her cellmate in Texas that she killed the women because she could not have children and her victims could. She said they were wasting it being “pond scum.” Records also said Perry told her cellmate that police destroyed some of her guns including evidence in the murders.

The cellmate told detectives Perry said she was a “contract killer” and murdered  nine prostitutes.

In an interview with detectives, Perry said, “I’m not going to admit I killed anybody, I didn’t. Donna has killed nobody.”

Perry underwent a sex change operation back in 2000 in Thailand. That is when she changed her name from Douglas to Donna.

When detectives asked if Doug did the killing she said, “I don’t know if Doug did or not, it was 20 years ago and I have no idea whether he did or didn’t.”

Major Crimes Detectives say Perry's DNA connects her to each of the victim's. Court documents show investigators matched Perry’s DNA with that found on two of the victims. They said her fingerprints are on a tube of lubricant associated with the other victim.
