WHITMAN COUNTY -- A man found guilty of disposing the remains of 23-year-old man from Rosalia will not face another murder trial.
Daniel Lazcano's defense team struck a deal Friday with Whitman County Prosecutors. He will be back in court on July 19.
Lazcano's trial back in February resulted in a mistrial for murder and kidnapping charges, but he was found guilty for disposing human remains.
The case is in connection to the December 2011 murder of Marcus Schur of Rosalia.
Daniel's brother Frank Lazcano was found guilty of murder in the first degree and improper disposal of a body. Frank was found not guilty of kidnapping in the first degree.
