SPOKANE—A storm that rolled through Friday afternoon left some lasting problems.  Power lines fell and a tree landed on several cars.

Neighbors say the tree fell down near Wall and Maxwell around 2:30 Friday afternoon.

It landed on top of a truck and smashed the window of a car across the street.

Right now the road is blocked at Maxwell and Wall.  Neighbors say the City Streets Department came by earlier in the day but left.  They say city staff told them no one would be by to assess damage until Monday and they were directed to leave the cars until then.

The owner of the truck says his vehicle is still drivable, but the car across the street has a busted window and the hood looks like it has some damage.

Also earlier in the afternoon power lines on Washington and York fell onto someone's yard.  The lines sat live on the ground.  Fire crews say neighbors didn't lose power.
