SPIRIT LAKE, Idaho-- Investigators in Kootenai County are still trying to figure out how a teenager drowned in Spirit Lake. The 18-year-old's body was found partially submerged in the icy water in March, and his parents suspect foul play.

Luke Anana Kuewa’s body was found in a section of Spirit Lake. KREM 2’s Cole Heath spoke with Luke’s mom on Tuesday. She says her patients are running thin surrounding the investigation into her son’s death.

Carol-Lynn Kuewa says justice has not been served following her son's drowning death. “I cry mostly every night.  I don't know what to do, I’m lost. “

Carol-Lynn says investigators with the Kootenai County Sheriff's Office are not giving her much information. “They haven’t told us anything except they’re at 90-95 percent of evidence in proof other than that they haven’t arrested anyone”

A cross marks the spot near where Luke’s body was found on March 25. His mom says her son's body looked like he was attacked the night before at a party near these rocks. “I know he was murdered.”

Carol-Lynn says she has a list of names of who she claims may be behind her son's death. “I want to knock on these peoples doors but it takes me a lot not too.”

We called the Sheriff's Office, County Prosecutor, and Coroner’s Office Tuesday hunting for new information. Nobody would talk specifics about the case, and we were denied a request to look at any reports.

The Prosecutor did confirm they are working with the Sheriff’s Office.
