SPOKANE-- Washington State is applying for almost $19 million in federal funding for the North Spokane Corridor.
The funds would go toward the next phase of the project, which constructs freeway and pedestrian bicycle structures, and relocates several miles of freight lines.
The mayor’s office called it the city’s top transportation priority.
