SPOKANE -- A police standoff in North Spokane ended Tuesday morning without an arrest.
Officers say they had a search warrant to find Joshua Allan Jackson, 31, at 2418 E. Sharp.
Around 9:00 a.m. officers staged outside the home, closing off nearby streets within a one-block radius and evacuated some neighbors.
Jackson is wanted by the Department of Corrections and is known to have made threats to law enforcement in the past. Officers were tipped to his location by a welfare check call made to the home. Police say Jackson answered the phone.
Police entered the home around 11:00 a.m. but found no one inside. Neighbors were allowed back inside their homes. Officers are still searching for Jackson's whereabouts.
