SPOKANE -- A sprinkler system went off unexpectedly in a downtown Spokane building.
It happened at the historic Bennett Block on Howard and Main late Saturday afternoon.
Firefighters said the sprinkler went off on the second floor. Water then poured down on the first floor. Firefighters said it did significant damage to the Spokane Exercise Equipment store.
No word yet on the cause.
