SPOKANE, Wash. -- Two homes in the East Central Neighborhood were raided by Spokane Police Friday. Police found drugs, drug paraphernalia and were able to arrest one person.

SWAT and detectives served a search warrant on the 200 block of S. Fiske and on the 2300 block of E. 4th.

During the search of the home on S. Fiske detectives found small amounts of heroin and arrested Timothy Price, 34, for possession of a controlled substance. Neighbors tell police the home had been a problem and neighborhood resource officers regularly went to that house.

After detectives raided the home on Fiske, detectives served a the search warrant on E. 4th.  Detectives discovered small amounts of heroin along with scales and other drug paraphernalia. One person was detained for question and was later released.

Spokane Police say they received tips from concerned citizens that helped the Special Investigation Unit collect information to indicate drugs were being sold and purchased in the area.
