SPOKANE-- A woman well known for her recall of Mayor Jim West is working to recall another elected official, Spokane County Prosecutor Steve Tucker.
Shannon Sullivan says recent court cases like the Karl Thompson trial were what pushed her to file.
She took on the mayor's office and now she says the prosecutor needs to be held accountable too.
Shannon Sullivan says she's ready to file this request for a recall petition.
For her it started with an alleged statement from Spokane County Prosecutor Steve Tucker.
She says, "Tucker basically told a group of his potential supporters that they would be immune from prosecution if they committed a crime."
Sullivan says the Otto Zehm case shows Tucker meant it when he didn't prosecute Karl Thompson.
She alleges Tucker didn't show up to court when asked to by a judge.
From here a judge will read Sullivan's request, if they find the allegations potentially valid, the judge will grant a petition.
Tucker can appeal.
If enough signatures are gathered the recall would be put on the ballot for a vote.
Sullivan says she plans to formally file Friday.
KREM 2 News called the prosecuters office. Prosecutor Tucker has not responded with a comment.
