SPOKANE-- Spokane police are searching for a Good Samaritan who tried to stop a hit-and-run driver on the South Hill.

The crash left both of the victims seriously injured. The suspect tried to flee the scene after the crash, according to police, and the man attempted to chase after them.

Red light cameras at 3rd Avenue and Freya captured the wreck.

The Good Samaritan can be seen on the video running from the top of the screen and darting toward the victims.

Spokane police interviewed several witnesses but have not been able to find that man.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Check at 456-2233.
