Spokane native Amanda Furrer describes herself as a girlie-girl, who loves all things glitter. She also happens to be one of the best rifle shooters in America, and she has her eye on the glitter of gold at the London Olympics.

The Furrer's Spokane home is adorned with hundreds of Amanda's shooting awards. The biggest came earlier this month when Amanda earned a coveted spot on the U.S. Olympic Team shooting a .22 caliber rifle.

She was all smiles during the opening ceremonies of the 2012 Olympic Games. Furrer has tweeted several pictures from London since she arrived.

Amanda will compete in London Saturday.

The 21 year old will turn on her laser focus; as she competes in the women's 50 meter rifle, 3 positions.

Amanda said she planned on watching an inspirational sports movie Friday night.

She competes at 9:00 a.m. in London, 1:00 a.m. PT.
