Spokane -- A Spokane musician is stuck after someone stole a crucial piece of his gear.

Daniel Mills said last week he was loading his gear into Nectar Tasting Room for a show. While making several trips back and forth, someone swiped his guitar effects board.

The musician said he started calling area pawn shops to find his gear.

After describing the items to Double Eagle Pawn, he believes he found it. Mills said per the shop’s policy, he cannot get it back to him until police open a case and process the evidence.

Mills said he cannot waste time. He will have to use the money he was saving to record an album to pay for a new guitar effects board. His band “Son of Brad” is selling a single online to help raise money for the new equipment.
