SPOKANE, Wash.-- The Spokane County Sheriff’s Office used one driver as an example early Thursday, after he failed to scrape his windshield and wrecked his car.
It happened just after 6 a.m. near Sprague and Fancher. Authorities said the man was running late and didn’t have time to scrape his icy windshield. He then drove his car head-on into a pole.
The driver was not injured. Authorities said it was unclear whether or not he would be ticketed for not scraping his windshield. However, they did plan to use pictures of the wreck on the Spokane County Sheriff’s Office Facebook page as a reminder to all drivers to take the time and scrape their windshields.
