SPOKANE -- Members of Spokane’s running community set up a memorial at the runners sculpture in Riverfront Park.

People can place gently used shoes at the base of the runners.  The shoes will be donated to Crosswalk Teen Shelter, Hope House, and other organizations serving the homeless and youth in need.  The shoes will be collected until Friday.  You can also drop shoes off at Runners Soul at 221 N. Wall.

Runners also hung a sign that says, “Spokane Loves Boston.”
