SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash.-- A couple slept through a home invasion Monday night in Spokane Valley.  When the homeowner woke up Tuesday morning, someone had made-off with his wallet and his wife’s watch.

The Spokane County Sheriff’s Office responded to the reported burglary near the intersection of South Hogan Lane and East 56th Lane at about noon on Tuesday. The homeowner said he was certain that he had locked the front door to the home before going to bed.

The couple contacted the bank and learned that someone had attempted to use their credit card. As of Wednesday morning, the bank had not released surveillance footage of the suspect.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Crime Stoppers Tip Line at 1-800-222-TIPS, or to forward the tip here.
