SPOKANE-- The Spokane River was receding as of Monday night, yet the lower flood levels are leaving behind debris and road closures.

The Centennial Trail was completely underwater and there was minor flooding on the road way.

Shad Bowen lives along upriver drive and decided to check out the flooding.  "It’s pretty comparable to last year probably 4 years ago it was covering the road."

The city blocked the road where the Spokane River exceeds its banks, but it's not stopping drivers. One car took the curb and others took the river side of the block. One this person decided to just move the barricade.

Bowen says the flooding hasn't impacted him, but for others it was minor inconvenience.
